Bodies on the beach

Posted on November 2, 2025November 2, 2025 by Verl

I read in the paper of the tornado that hit the Caribbean but it took me two days to realize that there were all these bodies that had been washed up on the shore right in front of my casa. Looking down at the beach I can see many bodies that must have come in last night I had not noticed them until it was so obvious. There are so many and they are all lined up in a row. It is quite interesting that the tide must have been pretty high when they were washed up because they are all pretty much the same distance from the water.

Close as I can tell the ones that survived must have been at a swimming pool aboard the ship that sank. They all have only swimming suits on and from where I am it looks like they landed on a beach towel. Strange is the only way I can figure this out. I have considered that perhaps I should go down and take a closer look and see if there are any survivors. As far away as they are I can only tell that most are female and do not have any clothes on from here it appears they each have a swimming suit which would indicate they were aboard a ship and was either swimming when the tornado hit or they were on the side of the pool sunbathing.

Perhaps I can save a few if I hurry down there. But then if I try and fail will I go to jail like it was my fault they drowned. It has been seventy years ago sense I was a boy scout and learned how to rescue those that were drowning but I cannot remember it much I do recall that they fought when they were drowning. I wonder if they would fight if they were up on the beach. Another thing I can not remember how you are to position the body to force air into their lungs. It would seem to me that I should get a hold of something like their hips so I can lift and push them as necessary to get air movements. Perhaps a hand on each side on a hip.

I bet the top string around their chest is so tight they cannot get air. I would hate to fight them while I undo the sting trying to help. Β Someone must have noticed yesterday because those that were there were gone early this morning. Must be they just wash up on high tide. Another thing strange is they all have their feet two ward the water. How come some are not washed into the bank sideways that would make more sense to me. Before I report this I think I should go down and take a closer look at the bodies and see if any can be saved. Most look to be healthy young women that is in their favor the chances of survival will be better with a younger woman than an old one.

I do not recall whether you should feed them or not if they are breathing I could drag one up here and give her a taste of wine. Would red or white be the best for their pulling through. At eighty years old I would not be able to get one up on my shoulder I would have to drag her. How would I explain that when I went past the desk downstairs. Oh, me I found her laying on the beach and just like a wounded pigeon I was going to take care of her.

On second thought I think I will wait and see if the news tomorrow tells of all these bodies down there. Let me know if you hear more about it.
