Life is confusing and baffling unless you acquire money then it becomes attorneys, specialties and bigger and better crooks.
Joe Bingilli was my partner in construction over fifty years ago and he had a down-to-earth type of thinking that sometimes was so true that it made you stop and scratch your head.
Joe said about insurance companies; The are built with specialists. They send a specialist around to sale you an insurance. Then if you donβt make the payments a specialist comes around to collect. Then if you have a claim they send another specialist around to fuck you out of it.
Right from the start we receive a bible and it does not tell you that even when you read it you donβt understand it. You have to study and pray about it to know the full truth.
So, life is confusing at the beginning, what is simple, and what is understandable beyond learning to walk and talk? Nothing my friend it is all a turmoil and problems one after another. I have had the times when I didnβt have enough money to buy groceries or pay for the means to get them.
I have had several times that I was so rich I could buy anything and not worry about the cost. When that happens, the world becomes trying to keep it. When you have money it is hard to hide it from the specialist that craw out of the dirt and rocks.
Of broke and rich I think life is easier to be broke than it is to keep it. When your broke and have no money the people in your world are also broke and have nothing. That in itself is a blessing in disguise, those about you have a common desire, wealth which is a false hope. Those friends find you have money and they want it. Now we lose those and find another level of confusion and desires. Now we canβt even trust the friends for fear of their honesty to us.
When does it ever get easy? I am only eightΒ three so you will not find the answer from me. Lets us the phone as an example when I was young we had a wall phone it was tied to the wall, so you never had to hunt for it. When you picked up the receiver to talk a woman would say βNumber Pleaseβ. Β I heard that so many times I donβt have to search the memory for that. If you did not no the number you would tell her I donβt know Davids number just get David for me.
She was our Google and we didnβt have to update her. Every phone was the same my number was 47M and it was in the same place every time I wanted it. Now I paid fifteen hundred dollars for a telephone that has ten thousand ways to store and find things. What do I get now? I message that my storage has ran out and I must update and get more or the information will not be keep.
Again, we are back to specialist they sold me the phone and now the usage is not as advertised it has a small clause that reminded me of the bible. The phone bill is almost two hundred dollars a month, so I call T-Mobil to find another way to cut the cost. The lady on the phone that I cannot hear says ten times I must give her the six digit pin number to be able to answer my questions. Ok lady give me a new pin number. Oh, I canβt do that you must connect to someone else. That took fifteen minutes to find what she said she speaks low and the sound of her voice is like a train coming from India through a mine tunnel. My eighty-dollar plan is two hundred a month what will it cost a month if I chose the hundred dollar a month plan?
In Colombia I bought two microwaves and they lasted about a month before they broke. No invoice so no refund so I buy another and save the invoice which is one step above nothing. If you take the invoice to them they will put it in a ben somewhere in the backyard and in six months tell you it ran out. The third microwave only worked on part of it before I left and whoever got it is ten days away from it breaking.
Now in Costa Rica you can not get packages delivered so I join My USA which guarantees delivery. I feel out the form I pay the money and now a package is sent from Florida and they give me the tracking number. I take to the post office, and they say that number is not good. She is speaking Spanish and it takes ten minutes to find they donβt need the number they can do it with your name. Its not there so I send to My USA on email where is my package. They write back and give us the tracking number. I send a copy of the invoice from Florida and hear nothing from them.
When I joined them they made me fill out forms with my address where it was to be shipped to so I thought they would send it. Now I find my package is on hold and they are waiting for you to tell them where and how you want it shipped. Why did I fill out that damn form in the first place if I have to tell them again? Why, when I ask where the package was someone did not tell me it is on hold at their business? Specialist again.
I would put up a hot dog against your penny that you could not buy a life insurance policy for ten thousand dollars, if you put up one million dollars, that it said only; If you die we pay ten thousand dollars. Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β No, they would not sale that, it has to take ten pages or no deal. Life is only confusing to those that do not live in a tent in the jungle away from people.
