Writing a book called lives treasures makes me ask myself just what are lives treasures this side of the grave? What are lives true treasures? What if one were to actually be put on the spot he had to answer that question. Could you?
Boil it down to one answer. One meaning, that had to stand for all eternity. If one said Gold, and then ended up out in the Shara Desert for all eternity with only that treasure would that still be a treasure? No water, no food, no people.
Your family? Back to the desert again, now what? Just what is lifeβs true treasure? Knowing the pitfalls, and taking in all that is possible, after making the choice, what would it now be?
It would do no good to say a place, because that in itself is not a treasure. What place on the face of this earth could you have for all eternity, if that was all you got. Would you be content in the Garden of Eden, if that was all you got?
Now we have eliminated some of the things we think are really important to us, but when we get right down to the final end result do we know?
Do you think Elon Musk knows it? Jeff Bezos? Larry Page? Just who would do you think could know the answer any better than you do? President Trump? Not money obviously, not power either, so we have to bring in deeper thoughts and more time thinking about the question.
Is there an answer? Yes without a doubt, and when you think about it you will find you not only have the right answer, but have that very gift.
