A new song

This is a story of the Rock around the clock latest hit of the century. It’s not a song that most would sing regularly. In fact, don’t sing it in front of the children or those over 60, it’s not good for them. In fact, now I think of it maybe it is not good for anyone to sing. Perhaps after thinking about, it, those that could should not even hum it. Now the rest of us will hum in B flat minor.

 

I wish the I was a fat boy setting with a flush.

Then the girls would look at me up until they blushed.

 

Wish I was a thin boy setting in a swing

I  would them happy, rather they blush or not.

 

Wish I was a blond girl setting on a basket

Then I could ask him what he was really after.

 

Wish I was a father setting on the porch

Watching was going on and waiting for disaster.

 

Wish I was a mother standing in the hall

Rolling pin and hammer I will show them all.

 

Wish I was a birdy setting on a limb

Watching all the action just before it happens.

 

Wish I were a writer waiting for the fun

I told you not to do it. Don’t sing along, don’t hum along I would suggest you just skip along. Sometimes a blind hog does not find a thing.
