Day three of my diet which is really a fast. My ability to diet is stop eating not cut down. I think a diet is according to ones own body and requirements. I smoke for a few weeks, and I stop for a few weeks, no big deal. I find it easier to cut out than cut down.
To me personally I feel trying to quit smoking but cutting to a number of cigarettes a day is a lot harder than just stopping. Cutting down on food is the same way to big a change will not last with me. I am down 8 pounds today from the day before yesterday. Two days but I have done thisΒ for so many years I know the pitfalls that come after the fast. Stuffing ones face comes really easy after a fast.
Same way with smoking when one only quits for a few days if he returns to smoking he will try to gain back those cigarettes that he didnβt get by smoking many to catch up. Food is the same way. I am down 100 pounds from two years ago and I did it by fasting and not dieting. Now let me refine that statement.
I want to be a pilot and fly a 727 aircraft. By setting in the seat with all those instilments is a hard way to learn to fly. Obviously the way is a small step at a time.
I could not do open heart surgery if you laid on the table and gave me an instrument I would not know where to start. That like anything else takes training and a willingness to want the results.
Faith without action? With no outside education I concluded that to lose weight and keep it off would only be solved by changing my diet and not all at once. I cut out sweets, like donuts, cakes, pies and other wonderful spectacular things I loved.
I doped the weight by fasting then going back to the way I had been eating but that was different in that it did not include sweets that had already been taken out of my head as a necessary food source. If you want to stop smoking then those cigarettes that are supposed to help you quit are to me like eating a donut that was cooked with sugarless junk. The cigarette or the donut to us fat people are the same thing.
You can not keep wait off, you can not stop smoking, you cannot stop alcohol, or anything else until you personal want to do it. They can write on the cigarette pack how deadly it is, but I would pay you a hundred dollars for everyone who puts those back to the seller because of that on the pack. Oh, but you have to give me five cents for every pack sold with that on it.
You can lead a horse to water a lot easier than you can push him. Those that have the warnings are from the stone age. Why do they not put on the pack of cigarettes, βThe money you spent buying these could have feed two homeless people or twenty pigeons.β Pull the mind donβt push it. If you want results go the positive way donβt put desserts on the mind, put something that is good and inviting to you.
