Walking along the beach one day I found a mirror washed up on the sand. The more I looked at it the more I realized it was just about the right size to fit into my bathroom. As I dug the mirror out of the sand that covered it I was startled to find it had not even been cracked, broker on reflection dimmed.
Picking it up very carefully for fear I would be the one to brake it. l took it very carefully home and found it was exactly the size I needed over the sink in the bathroom. I am thinking how it can be it is not only in new condition, it fits like an egg in its own shell.
As I stood back and looked I said out loud to myself, “how this can be so perfect?” On the mirror in dark black writing appeared a message.
Because you ask for it.
First thing that came to mind: I do not remember asking for a mirror.
On the mirror appeared another message:
When you were standing right there you made a mental image of what you wanted.
In answer to that, I thought I make many mental images are they also brought to me?
A new message appeared:
What you are looking at in the mirror is what you imagined, and now you are seeing those images today.
The wrinkles at the side of my eyes, the lines along side of my mouth, the drooping of the skin, are they also not naturally there?
The next message appeared again which brought questions of how all this can be but before I had a moment to dwell on this was written:
All of those things you see in the mirror are because of previous mental images, you created,
when worries, angered, frustrations, dim lights, squinting to find answers to images.
Mystified by the writings in front of me, caused me to wonder how can what I am seeing, possibly be possible?
What you see in the mirror are those images yesterday, brought to today.
First thoughts into my mind then why am I not rich?
What riches would be greater than this?
I had money, cash and personal wealth in mind.
What greater riches than money, or material wealth, can I give you, if you only Imagin riches?
Alright I will go along with all this, if only to see the greatest gift possible, to receive. What would that be?
Know thy self!
A Messenger,
Verl K.
